About C&MA
For more than 120 years, the heart of The Alliance has been the Fourfold Gospel, which focuses on Jesus as Savior, Sanctifier, Healer, and Coming King. We hold a common desire to see every man, woman, and child experience a personal relationship with God in the fullness of Jesus Christ.
What motivates us is Jesus’ call to complete The Great Commission: “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28: 19–20 (NIV). In the going, we have been scattered to the whole earth.
As an alliance of Christians committed to seeing the Great Commission completed, Alliance Great Commission Ministries include more than 900 workers serving in 81 countries worldwide.
Alliance workers are not required to raise their own support. Instead, they and their ministries are financed through The Great Commission Fund (GCF). C&MA church members and friends of The Alliance give to the GCF regularly and live out the example set by the early church of sacrificial giving toward the work of the gospel.
We are part of a broader network and have missionaries and international workers all around the world who are committed to His call.
We believe the local church is God’s instrument to fulfill the Great Commission. The Alliance works to establish healthy communities of Christ both domestically and internationally that multiply themselves, resulting in self-sustaining, self-governing, self-propagating evangelical churches within reach of every person on the planet.
